It is expected for domestic and foreign participating fashion artists to share their creativity, cultural and artistic meanings in fashion art
works and the Zeitgeist with the audience along with the development of the Korean fashion culture as the creative cultural industry.
As the sustainable fashion art inspired by the recent past and the distant past, it has themes of rediscovery of the clothes in my closet, inquiry into the nations' traditions including Korean classic, recycling, upcycling and circulation.
It shows fashion designs are originated from the artists’ own cultural capabilities, searching for a new perspective about the contemporary culture and finding out the uniqueness. In addition, it derives the global empathy from a broader perspective, starting from the universality of the contemporary current culture and Korean culture.
It sets a direction fashion goes forward as preparation for the sustainable space-time and the future. Various attempts are made with consideration about if futuristic colors, materials, details, and integration with new technology will be everything of the future fashion design.
