With key words like the sustainable future we see today and Korea we see now, let's try to create the sustainable Korean fashion design reflecting concern of the fashion world for the sustainable society.
In the midst of a global pandemic spread since early 2020, humans came to reconsider the immediate or distant future, and trivial or profound periodic values. Keeping pace with such a trend, 2020 International Fashion Art Biennale in Seoul hosts screenings and exhibitions of fashion art works, and international fashion art seminars with a keyword of Sustainability and Search for K-Design Identity and with a theme of “2020: The MOMENT”.
It is expected for domestic and foreign participating fashion artists to share their creativity, cultural and artistic meanings in fashion art
works and the Zeitgeist with the audience along with the development of the Korean fashion culture as the creative cultural industry.
Memory
As the sustainable fashion art inspired by the recent past and the distant past, it has themes of rediscovery of the clothes in my closet, inquiry into the nations' traditions including Korean classic, recycling, upcycling and circulation.

Moment
It shows fashion designs are originated from the artists’ own cultural capabilities, searching for a new perspective about the contemporary culture and finding out the uniqueness.
